Buehrer Group, in collaboration with Midwest Contracting Inc., is proud to deliver a new state-of-the-art medical office for Allergy Clinic Ohio in Sylvania Township. Delivered through a design/build approach, the project was thoughtfully planned to meet the operational and clinical demands of a modern allergy practice while expressing the clinic’s brand and professional identity through clean, contemporary architecture.
At the core of the facility is a bright and inviting public zone featuring a welcoming vestibule, open lobby, and a central reception area that serves as the hub for patients and visitors. The clinical layout includes ten fully equipped exam rooms, a dedicated shot room flanked by two support offices for immunotherapy services, and four private physician offices. Additional support spaces include three storage rooms, a central supply area, and a staff breakroom—ensuring efficient, behind-the-scenes functionality.
Architecturally, the building presents as a refined masonry structure, anchored by a dramatic 20-foot-tall glass corner that houses the main entry and reception area. Framed in steel and enclosed in full-height glazing, this prominent feature creates a bold and transparent focal point, flooding the interior with natural light. The remainder of the building is clad in a sleek composite panel system, enhanced by illuminated signage that reinforces the clinic’s brand visibility. A cantilevered canopy clad in composite wood planks extends from the glass corner across the front façade, tying the composition together with warmth and modern flair.
Designed with occupant comfort and energy performance in mind, the facility is equipped with a rooftop HVAC system that ensures efficient and adaptable climate control. The completed building offers a professional, comfortable, and highly functional environment that reflects Allergy Clinic Ohio’s commitment to quality care and patient experience.
